Before your first vet visit
Write down where your pet came from (breeder, rescue, shelter). Ask for any vaccine records they have. Bring those to your first appointment so your vet knows what's already done.
We'll build a vaccine timeline you can print or save.
Fill in your pet's details above and click Build Schedule to see the timeline.

Missing the booster window is the most common problem. A puppy or kitten needs several rounds of shots spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. If you skip one, your vet may need to restart the series. Mark each vaccine as soon as it's given.
Not every pet needs every vaccine. Ask which core vaccines are required in your area and which optional ones make sense for your pet's lifestyle. A house cat has different risks than an outdoor cat.
Use the Save button on this page to store your pet's schedule in your browser. Print a copy for your vet bag. Some boarding facilities and groomers ask for proof of vaccination, so having a printed list saves time.
